The FBI has gone rouge and just told the world they are guilty.
And they said a woman would be to emotional to be President of the United States. But goodness let's treat allies badly. That's not being emotional at all lmao.
He isn't an ally, he is a criminal and our own government made him. And I know you won't agree with that but at least humor me on the second part:
The entire world is corrupt at this point, every government system in every country has levels of corruption that run deep. We are basically observing wealthy bureaucrats play a game with our lives, futures, and industries and force power and influence over us to keep us in line and at the bottom but just happy enough not to revolt. Some animals are more equal than others, and all that.

The country I'm pretty sure is an ally of ours, just like Canada as well and we see how Trump has done them as well. I don't disagree about Corruption but I mean this man treats PUTIN better than he does the people who run the countries that's supposed to be our allies. That doesn't sit right with me.
Being an ally today is just a friendly way of saying "we share common wealth and desires" and that is probably why Trump is being how he is. He doesn't have the same desires for America that these countries have.
Or it can entirely all be a show, who knows.
I have largely never trusted government systems and probably never will. And while I am happy Trump won and I do find him hilarious (I know you don't and I can understand why), I don't even trust him. People are too easily corrupted and that is the sad reality of politics in general.
I am just on whatever side is most against war and currently that is team orange man. I hate war. I hate senseless killing. If Trump has to be a dick to bring peace over there, I don't care. Far too many people in Ukraine lost their lives and homes. None of them voted for this. The shite needs to end.
Russia doing what they did was evil but keeping a war going for 4 years when there had been multiple ways out is dancing with the devil.
And I am still pissed that he was ready to make a deal and Boris Johnson talked him out of it. This war has largely been used as an excuse for multiple countries to launder money off the graves of Ukrainian citizens. It is sick.

The thing is, about that last part. Can he really be against war, but also talk land grabbing? Or like I mentioned be buddies with Putin? Like I don't like war either so we agree there. I just don't buy into this whole notion he's against it with how he acts.
We see eye to eye on alot. Surely the government as a whole being corrupt. I don't trust any of them. I normally support the ones whom I feel align a little bit more with my belief system, but even then I'm just like I don't trust them.
Like with this Tax stuff we talked about a few weeks back, I don't think Trump will do anything to help the lower and middle-class. But his already rich buddies? You can bet he's going to help those folks get richer.
If you mean the whole Gaza thing... Yeah that has to be one of the dumbest things Trump has proposed and most of his supporters, from what I could see, thought it was stupid. The Greenland thing was mostly a meme but he was looking at it from a business perspective, most of what he does is viewed that way which seems jarring compared to the usual politics.
I am still hopeful that the middle-class will grow stronger. The stronger it is, the less people we have stuck in poverty.. But I don't think he is going to be able to put a dent into the problems we have. Everything dealing with the economy has been a growing problem since the early 1900s. No one will be able to fix that in 4 years. It would probably take 2 decades to fix it, maybe more.
If he really means what he says with the economy and making America "great again", then we should see a decent shift in favor of working class people and I think the only way to actually improve things quickly is to downsize the government to a point where he can get rid of income taxation which is what I think he is trying.
I don't know if it will work but I am really hoping it does because that alone would help millions of people.
I'm not a person to blame the rich for "hoarding all the wealth". I don't care if people have money well beyond their means. I care more about how they got it and the power behind it. That is where corruption comes from.
I want the basic standard of living to be what it was before. Where you can buy a house on a single income again. You can raise a family without fear of making enough money to feed your kids. That you can go to a hospital without fear of going into crippling debt. I think everyone wants this. People are just arguing over the best way to achieve it.
We have to wait and see if what he has planned works and pray it does. I try to be as optimistic as possible. There is a lot of darkness in this world but it doesn't take much light to rid it.
Yeah the Gaza thing is what I meant. It's nice to see how some thought it was dumb. I saw folks on Facebook loving it. But that's Facebook so probably just trolls lol.
As far as the rich thing. I just always have been of the belief that them not getting so many tax breaks for so many different things could help out a ton. Maybe that's easier to say because I'm not rich. But I would like to think if I became rich I wouldn't mind using that to help people and to improve the economy. But that's never gonna happen so no point in me even thinking about it lol. But they definitely are plenty of people in the US who could do so much without even putting a dent in their wallet.
That whole 6th paragraph, 100% agree. Surely the hospital part. They've been so many times I probably need to go get checked but I don't because it's way to damn expensive.

Taxing the rich more won't help anyone that isn't rich because we have a problem with a corrupt government that has largely pissed away the money they have gotten. Even state level corruption is a mess and this is why we have issues with lead in pipes making people sick or places like Cali not being prepared for disasters. People wanted to blame DEI but that was a symptom, the main problem was government corruption.
They don't really get tax breaks either. The companies do to an extent but that is only with growth levels. For the owners of these businesses, it is different.
What happens, for example, is someone like Bezos can afford to pay himself a 20 million dollar salary. He knows he would get taxed half that so instead he gives himself a salary of like 600k with a 1 million dollar bonus (different tax processes) and doesn't lose as much money and in return redirects that money back into Amazon and his other companies. When he wants to buy expensive stuff, he just takes out massive loans on behalf of Amazon so the banks always approve them and then continues to take out loans to pay off previous loans and this is how taxation is avoided.
If anything, taxing the rich less would result in them putting that money back into the economy rather than having it be printed through bank loans which only further makes the inflation worse. Does that make sense? I know there is a better way to explain this than I am. I looked into it a lot but I still suck at explaining things.
Like to me, at the very least, no one earning less than 6 figures should be taxed at all and the cap should be 10% for everyone else with a slower raise so anyone earning under 10 million pays the least and over that, they pay the most.
So like 10% of 20 million would be 2 million vs Bezos only paying what he does now which is like 300k give or take based on the numbers I stated above. He would be more inclined to keep his money and be taxed more overall if he isn't taking as much of a hit and put it back into the economy than take loans.
And I feel you. I need dental work but have been putting it off cause what I would want done would cost thousands and I also would like to be able to get blood work done every 6 months to check for mineral or vitamin deficiencies but we don't have insurance and that would probably cost like $600+ out of pocket each time. The healthcare system is also dropping in quality while the price keeps going up too.
And all that stuff about taxing the rich less deals with business owners. I don't know how you deal with the rich people that control the stock market. That is a completely other problem that I don't know a solution for.
Good. Needs to be nationwide. And they need to ban beauty pageants. Anything that sexualizes kids or exposes them to fetishes needs to go. This includes the public displays of kink and depravity at pride events. Keep that crap in adult spaces.
