General Politics Thread

Yeah. Then like I told you in the pm I sent you. It's best we don't talk politics with each other. Because I give you stuff to backup what I'm saying, and you want to ignore it. So yeah. We can talk other places, maybe we can go talk about Dragon Ball together yeah. But politics it's no reason.

The argument of "Israel has a right to defend itself" going around is dumb. Yes, there was a high chance Iran would eventually attack them but to just outright attack them without them doing anything first rids that argument. Israel should have just been prepared for an attack, not provoked one by attacking them first.

That country and government is a mess. I know the US isn't much better but come on. Now Iran is viewing it as the US is as war with them too so this is all just great.
 


None of this guy's story makes any sense. He is for and against everything on both sides. I think someone is lying or he was just looking to sew chaos on both sides cause he is a deconstructionist commie. Either way, I don't care what side he is on... These sorts of people need to be discouraged. The media and politicians (especially democrats) have been elevating violence through their words. Crazy people hear trigger words. They don't listen between the lines. If someone says "Trump must be stopped by all means necessary", to a crazy person... What do you think that sounds like? It is no secret we have a mental health crisis in this country either.

I just hope this doesn't happen again. I don't want to see anyone targeted violently for any reason. It is demonic.

Yeah at this point it's just sad to see the people in any position of power here, because they are probably very few of them who aren't terrible human beings. But sadly right or left, people don't care if the person sucks, as long as they can "stick it to the other side" they will keep on and on voting for for them.

The national debt got out of control when USD stopped being backed by gold ('70s) and moved to oil. Now it is just one war to the next to maintain power. It is sick. You can trace a lot of problems with USD and the economy to the federal reserve but I think removing the gold standard was the nail in the coffin. I don't think there is a way to fix this without doing a national bankruptcy.

Looks like it is about to be official, the US is going to war with Iran.

I am so sick of the people that run this country. Silly me to think things would ever change.

Just fucking ridiculous. I really hoped this was one of the times Trump told the truth, cause dammit this ain't our war to fight. We ain't gotta always be world police.
