GOHAN ALMOST KILLED GOKU

Before their all-out training in the hyperbolic time chamber , gohan tells goku that piccolo was right about him being “too nice” and that he needed to go 100% against him while training. Goku then goes super saiyan and they begin.
(“We were all like damn ok crybaby I see you tuff now”)

Fast forward to when gohan was being beaten by cell piccolo says something needed to be done. Goku replied “we have to wait…hes almost mad trust me”

This means in the time chamber goku mustve damn near beat gohan to death, made him go berserk and almost died. Learning about the dormant power released when hes mad.

If somebody could animate that, that shit would be hard

I mean yeah, there is a good probability for this. Saiyans see the greatest power boost after being nearly killed. Once they recover, their power level is multiplied. Vegeta nearly killed himself training and got a massive boost afterwards as well.

They get a boost after death too, Goku is technically back from death as Super Saiyan 3 and Vegeta after Majin.

Near death and death seems the path to power.
