News Grains, Corn & Soy Prices Set To Increase in 2021

There are several outlets talking about this but I don't think enough attention is being brought to tit. Once grains, especially corn, go up in price, everything will follow. Food prices, in general, will increase. We are already seeing an increase in the housing market. Tech prices are going up too. Match all this with the incoming inflation from the US printing too much money and that $10 in your pocket is going to be worth $5. So prices of everything are going up and the value of USD is going down. This is going to make a very big mess.

Inb4 people start hoarding toilet paper again for some stupid reason...

Hot damn! I shop at the bakery outlet nearby, so bread that's near it's use by date, but still fresh and costs 1/3 of what you pay in the stores, even gluten free stuff and fanciful nonsense loaves...just saves so much money!

Ah, I'm familiar with that one, it's at the outlet I shop at, $2.79 a loaf. You should see if there's a Holsum outlet near you!

Edit -- maybe under a different name? I'm sure there have to be bakery outlets somewhere nearby that sell holsum/entenmans/etc.

I used to do that, too, but now I overpay for "I can't believe it's not butter" just to satisfy my doctors...assholes...

I've baked my own bread before, it comes out amazing, but it just doesn't last that long because everyone comes around "oh, can I try some?!?" and then...well...it's all gone...that or I eat it...

Also, that fake butter stuff is very unhealthy. My dad was a chef for several years, he always said you may as well just eat plastic if you eat that. Best to stick to real butter and just limit yourself with it.

Yeah, I've heard similar, but my doctors insist if I use butter I need to use that stuff. So...for now...it's that. I don't like it, not real butter, not butter tasting...just...meh.

Doctors get things wrong but I understand following what they say for health precautions. I just don't trust what they are taught in school anymore.
