Had Chi-Chi kept training, could she have surpassed Krillin?

The last we saw Chi-Chi, she faced off against Goku and the match didn't last too long. Before we knew it, they were engaged to be married. Had she kept training and possibly trained under Master Roshi, do you think she could have surpassed Krillin in terms of skill and strength?

I know this is a bit random but I was just thinking randomly about it. We all know she took the traditional route of being a wife and mother who wanted focus for her children to be in academics which is perfectly fine, she is still a strong female character regardless but I couldn't help but wonder what things could have been like had she took the same path as Goku and the rest of the group.

It's possible. Strength was prominent in her family. Maybe she could have been the first Videl, though, I think Videl could easily wipe the floor with Chi-Chi. They really ruined that character. Strong, female, companion to helicopter mom. The more and more we discuss the Dragon Ball universe the more I'm turned off by it.

While Chi Chi was in the 23rd Budokai, she gave a suppressed weighted Goku who was caught off guard trouble, so she did have potential as a Human Z Fighter. However, Krillin received a potential unlock by Guru that allowed him to surpass Tenshinhan who was training with King Kai. Furthermore, the Humans were very likely in the millions when it came to their Battle Powers in the Androids Saga.

So no, I think the best Chi Chi could hope to strive for is being on equal footing with Chiaotzu post King Kai training.

This is my opinion and it's been explored by Masako in one of his What-if series concerning Dragon Ball. Yes, I believe Chi-Chi could have surpassed Krillin and become a core member of the Z fighters. Taking into account her personality and how ardent she is about her children getting a good education, if she focused like that on her martial arts she could have become a formidable force.

BOOM! Kaikoen Chi-Chi slapping Dodoria like a hoe!

So you don't think that if Chi-Chi was a main, that she couldn't have received a potential unlock? Which to me is totally cheating, by the way. These are things where I wish Toriyama would have just let the characters train and build the strength on their own.

If she received a potential unlock by Guru, along with becoming a Z Fighter after the 23rd Budokai, she very well could have been stronger than Krillin, assuming she also trained for the upcoming battle against the Androids.

Chi Chi becoming a soccer mom after Gohan was born was pretty stupid, now that I stop and think about it. It was just an excuse to allow Gohan not to see his full potential early on in Z.

I think Chi-Chi absolutely could have become a powerful fighter had she continued training instead of pursuing a family life. Gohan had his hidden rage and hidden potential, I think it's safe to assume that was passed down from Chi-Chi, since Goku is always an all-in, giving it all he's got character. It's not that much of a stretch to assume that Chi-Chi has a similar potential and could unlock it if triggered, or trained, but she chooses not to.
