I mean we have to live with black snape but other then that yeah cautiously optimistic fits!
Heck even hermione while darker skinned isnt black only caramel so its definitly not as distractingly weird as black snape or cursed child hermione!
Harry, ron and the rest are genuinly well casted!

They are really milking this franchise by starting it over as a series lol

It's better suited as a series because the movies cut a lot of content from the books and re-wrote a lot of it to fit the pacing. There's a lot of context and important stuff that was removed that sort of falls apart as the series comes towards the end.
That said, just because it's better suited as a series doesn't mean it will automatically be good.
The funniest part is that there are people saying that if you watch this series, you are committing trans violence/genocide but if you say you aren't watching it over the race swap, those same people call you racist.
