Power scaling is so hard to follow in dragon ball. I remember questioning the super saiyan transformation because goku went from like 20000 power level to something like 150 million.

yeap, and then when they let characters like Android 17 and Krillin keep up with Goku, it gets even more difficult to determine what's going on.
Exactly, there's no way imo that krillin could do anything against super saiyan, let alone super saiyan blue. Those characters have really been left behind, and now only feel like a memory of the past, being there for nostalgia's sake.
Absolutely. Toriyama should have focused on the humans and found a way to power them up to stay relevant. Going all the way back to Dragon Ball, these characters have been around a long time and I have very fond memories of them and what they've accomplished together. They just keep making it the Goku and Vegeta show now...

I completely agree. Re-reading old dragon ball manga really takes me back to when tien and piccolo were considered strong. I really wish there was some way to power up the humans other than weak story telling and ridiculous power scaling that match god ki with human.
100%. Doesn't have anything on DBZ. Though the future trunks arc was pretty interesting. Super seemed more about cool fights and animations than actual story telling.
yeap. Don't get me wrong, though. There are parts of it I really like. I enjoy the manga way more than the anime.
One of my favourite moments in all of dragon ball is when goku unlocks UI sign the first time after everyone thinks he is dead. That whole scene is just so badass.
