I'm in Arizona, so not near it's path, but what a devastating hurricane it's been for the Bahamas in particular. Hopefully they get help enough to get back on their feet ASAP.
I was in Orlando at the time waiting patiently for it to come murder me. Sadly, disappointed by it's lack of bedroom performance on the state of Florida. All jokes aside though, Grand Bahama and the Abacos are effectively destroyed. Tens of thousands of people are left homeless and without basic necessities. If you'd like to help, the Bahamas Red Cross is providing relief for a lot of displaced persons. Stay frosty because hurricane season isn't over until November.

oh yeah it shut off at 3:35 in the morning then came back on at 8:36 in the morning.
At least it was only a few hours. I heard some people didn't have power for nearly 2 days.

Acts of kindness like this shouldn't be lost on the world. I am sure he inspired others to help out as well.
