Video Games I cannot get over how people are sleeping on FFXVI.

I enjoyed the plot, but the combat was a bit ehhh compared to 7R and 15. There were also a few things that were a bit silly like poorer side quests and half-voiced NPCs.
I'll probably play it again on PC, or maybe see what the DLCs are like. But I'll much sooner replay both parts of 7R, and I've already replayed them since 16.

That said, the ending made me tear up, and Cid's death scene got me.
Agreed on the poor side quests, and half-voiced NPCs, and I would argue some spots in the main storyline.
The storyline takes its sweet time - the way the story was told in the game context. Some people complain or complained the game should've been a movie. Disagree. Hard disagree. It wouldn't have been how fleshed out as it is...
Sometimes the combat do seem like you're not attacking, but if you wrapped your head around the fury attacks and later, the summons, you can wrap them into a multi-facet combat system. Then there's the morphed eikons.. which I do agree with someone on; TURN THAT into a video game. I'd throw $60/$70 asking price. Oh yes.
Cool. And the spoiler also teared me up too.
I got passionate as I was playing against Ultima's various stages. He's like, "hold my beer" to Tyhon. The reason why I embedded two Ultima videos, is not just because he's final boss, but the progression. So, you were battling Ultima 2 times back to back.
Of all the boss battles, Tyhon and Ultima stands out. Hugo, too... Titan was cool, but IMHO, Tyhon was peak music.
