Dragon Ball I think Dragonball needs a remade Anime along the lines of Hunter X Hunter and Shaman King!

Lets be honest the dragonball anime suffer from a lot of problems!
Filler, bad Animation Quality, multiple censourships amongst other things!
So giving The dragonball animes some Remakes Would help a lot what do you think?

I am assuming you mean just Dragon Ball and not DBZ. They already did a remake of sorts with Kai.

I wouldn't mind seeing Dragon Ball remastered with cleaner lines and stuff but I feel like they would remove a lot of what made it funny or at least tone it down too much.

I mean Dragonball, z and super! Kai is only a remaster and it doesnt even come close to making the pacing bearable! also especially in Z the Artwork becomes really bad!
Edit also i made a new thread telling you guys about my problems in game making if you now any way to help i would be immensly thankfull!

I would be terrified of how PC they would make DB and DBZ if they remastered it. It's great as it is, an updated version is asking for trouble, IMO.

True but are the shaman king/hunterxhunter remakes Pc? not that i make a big mistake!

I feel like the art is solid enough in db and z that it doesn't need a remake. If I look at how the art changed between old and new HxH I feel like the remake was a good choice. But on art alone, Dragonball Z feels like it has aged well


I think a remaster with the filler taken out could be good

If they want to remaster it and edit it into a manga faithful adaptation that would be fine, but I don't want a remake. It's a snapshot in time of the mid 80's and I love it!

What sort of censorships are you talking about? It's obviously pure and as-intended in Japan, and Funimation have released uncut English versions of Dragon Ball and Z. Other than the issues that come with dubbing (most of which lie with the Ocean Dub and syndicated runs on timeslots for children), the Funimation uncut versions don't seem to be lacking any of the content.
