Silent Hill: The Short Message was also good, just a tad bit confusing.
Just finished INTERMission. Now I don't know what to do with myself for 10 days.
Have you got the DLC? I'm trying to decide if it's worth it.
I'm not entirely sure I'll finish Rebirth before I leave for Japan on Friday
Had to break for the weekend to move some stuff, and my in-laws are here and I have to patiently wait for my moment.
The game is good as is. Not sure about DLC, haven't reached it yet.

Just finished re-re-re-re-re-re-re-replaying FF7 Remake. Just a quick blitz (minimal sidequests to get one of Aerith and Cloud's alternate dresses); will do the same with INTERMission and then replay Rebirth (frell yeah!)

I think they made some slight adjustments to improve the flow amd connection into Rebirth.
One of the more notable changes of the update was in Rebirth they gave past-Tifa an undershirt since she was a minor, and updated the appearance in Remake to reflect that.
Further to this (since I wrote that reply just after waking up, and now I have a full keyboard at my disposal and more awakeness);
Following my post, I did some research. It would seem that line ("The sky... I don't like it") is actually closer to how it translates in the original Japanese. I personally prefer the dub ("I miss it... the steel sky.") and still do. Just a few more thoughts

- Aerith had never really seen the outside world before. So both lines work in terms of being afraid of it.
- Remake is a result of Aerith altering destiny, meaning part of her knows what's going to happen later, it can also be a fear of that future/pining for the life she already had and the friends she'd just made
- In some of the timelines of Rebirth, the end was heralded by a large crack in the sky. The Japanese line could more closely relate to her seeing that coming.

I am currently playing Remake, and it didn't occur to me she sees the "future," at least not that I've seen so far. But I do know that she can communicate in the spirit world. Cloud would see Aerith outside her home, except she's NOT there.
But, yeah, it seems like she never seen the world beyond Midgar. The "steel sky" refers to the plate. I have not played Rebirth yet.
Aerith reminds me of someone or a few people I knew or know. She's a bit naive. She is adventurous, always going to step on toes without knowing the consequences. Her character in astrology would be an Aries. Fiery, passionate, caring, but naive.
Outgoing, enthusiastic. I enjoy her character. My issue is the constant impulsive thinking. That's quite a character flaw. But that's an Aries.
Cloud doesn't realize how fucking lucky he is. TWO women vying for his love or attention? Hoof, bruh. Tifa crushing on him? Brrrrooo..
I'd bang that.
I know there are ladies who'll get offended, but hey, I'm a man.

I'm not sure if you've played OG FF7 but there's a lot of minor differences between the story of the two, and the Whispers (the entities) are not part of it.
She also knew who Marlene was without anyone mentioning her by name.
Pay close attention to dialogue around her.
She's meant to be fun and cheery, which I think is one of her big draws. I think knowing what becomes of her is also why it's a big punch in the gut about her fate.
Bring on Rebirth!
Currently dipping in a few things. DA Inquisition, Lethal Company, Kingdom Come Deliverance, Rebirth NG+, Divinity Original Sin 2...
Nothing super exciting at the moment. BT4 is likely the next game I'll end up getting.
