I won't argue against it because I know books tend to be better than movies but I am too lazy to read.
I finally have been powering through The Man in the High Castle over these past couple of weeks and holy hell. I'm so glad I did. Just finished watching the penultimate episode, about the load the last episode, and it's SO DAMN GOOD! I mean, the start of season 4 really sort of turned me off for a bit, because it went outlandish, but once you get back into the swing of things...WOW! If you have Prime Video, watch it. Do yourself a huge favour and watch it. So damn good.
I've heard nothing but good things about it, one I need to get back to watching, as I've only seen episode 1.

I remember it had a pretty solid cast, for sure, and the only parts of the plot that I remember is the main character is a housewife by day and a comedian (...? Singer?) at night. Got absolutely rave reviews.
Yeah, the whole basis of the story is a Jewish wife that uses her life on the stage to pursue becoming a comedian in the late 1950's.
