I see things online from places like TikTok, Twitter, etc. and there is just so much stupidity with people under the age of 25 these days, at least in the US.
It is almost as if they are proud of their stupidity as well. I think this kind of stuff gets encouraged because other people like, share, and watch their content so it gets reinforced as being a good thing when it really isn't. It seems like we went from trends in fashion/style to trends in stupidity. People are copying each other's dumbfuqery and thinking they are smart for doing it.
Maybe I am just becoming an old fart. I remember being in my late teens/early twenties and there were certainly people around my age doing dumb things, I guess it just wasn't broadcasted and encouraged by everyone. It was just small groups of people doing stupid things. Now there are thousands of them gathering and encouraging others to partake in the dumb thanks to social platforms.
