Not one for making threads like this. Not even much of a basketball fan these days either. This is just terribly sad news.

Kobe and his daughter Gianna were among 5 to die in a helicopter crash today. Kobe was only 41, his daughter 13... ffs man.

I feel so bad for his wife and other children, his other family, his friends. Such sad news.
 
I'm not a Sports fan either, but it is very sad to hear this because he just retired. He was also a Basketball legend, so this is very tragic for the NBA as well.

I didn't see them but I know people have been paying tribute from the start with memorials popping up all over LA.

I just hope the other 8 who were in the accident are getting their remembrance as well. There lives were no less valuable because they weren't famous.
 
Yeah, I'm not a big basketball fan myself, but this was just tragic. Coupled with the fact it was his daughter, himself and other daughters and parents going to a travel basketball game. That's just so much tragedy for so many people. No parent should have to bury their child, ever. Thoughts obviously go out to all family and friends of all of those on board that helicopter.

Honestly still shocked, shows us death has no preference
Had a great impact in my geneartion and i hope it continue, never really a bbasketball fan but still knew about him and what he meant and did ya know?
