The Dragon Ball universe has done a lot for me growing up. :)

Same. I went back and watched everything just a few months ago. I actually never watched Dragon Ball up until last year. I only ever watched Z and Super with some of the movies thrown in. I went back and watched Dragon Ball and GT. Wish I had done both sooner.

Absolutely. The original Dragon Ball is so different in some ways. It was definitely more of a comedy with some really awesome serious moments and battles. Goku was so innocent and care free, but you mess with his friends and he's a totally different person. Plus, you gotta love all the moments like when he was trying to check if Bulma was a boy or a girl. It's pure gold.

Loved the whole "Bulma your balls are missing!" scene. Yeah, it was more relaxed. I did enjoy the Piccolo battle at the end. I love the power-ups and all but it was nice seeing less of it in a serious battle.

Totally agree with all that. The serious battles were great, but it was more of the other side of everything I liked most. A lot of great allies and villains, too!
