Krillin vs Master Roshi: Who is the better fighter?

Krillin is often regarded as the strongest human alive. It is hard to believe this, at least for me, with someone like Master Roshi still being alive.

Roshi is said to be somewhere between 300 and 400 years old. At the start of Dragon Ball is was noted as being 300. Roughly 33 years have passed (Goku was 11 at the start and is now 44) so that would make him 333. I think it is clear that he purposely makes himself weaker in part to continue being a "hermit" and left alone with his food and lady magazines. Throughout the series, we see just about everyone pass him in strength and fighting ability, or so it seems.

Krillin is a short Munk turned martial artist. In his first tournament in Dragon Ball, we see him get mocked and ridiculed by his peers for being weak. As he progresses through the series, he becomes very strong but never quite catches up to Goku. In regards to being the strongest human, one can find that believable when compared to Yamcha and Mr. Satan but even Yamcha has appeared to be on par with him at times.

Who do you think is the better fighter overall? This being based on personality, strength, and general intelligence.

If where taking about Dragonball Z Krillin Power Level is stronger then Roshi. Roshi really let himself go in DBZ he was weak. But it seen also from what happen in Super so for up to this point in the Dub that Roshi has gotten caught to the Earth Fighter like Krillin.

Krillin is the strongest human on Earth that isn't Oob. On top of that, he is the official successor to Master Roshi in the Dragon Ball Online MMO, which Akira Toriyama supervised (with Tenshinhan being the successor to Master Shen), so I personally believe Krillin is superior as a warrior based on this. I don't think Roshi let himself go in Z. His battle power was 139, and that's implied to be pretty high. It suggests that he trained after the 23rd Budokai.

Krillin far surpassed Roshi some time ago. While, Roshi's has years of experience, up until Super, he hasn't really been very active. He's didn't really have experience with the super powers that exist now. I think it was kind of a sham how he was able to fight in the tournament of power, though, it was nice to see him do some good. Either way, IMO, Krillin is still much more powerful. Does power equal better fighter? No. But, Krillin has a lot of experience now and I don't believe Roshi would last in a one-on-one with Krillin.

This is a valid point. He is not a better fighter but he seems to be the stronger one. I think Roshi's experience would only get him so far before Krillin's power takes over the match if they were to go one on one. I still feel Roshi is the better fighter but only because Krillin lacks the experience and the confidence Roshi has had for years.
