I know plenty of gals these days are into video games and it isn't considered a "nerd thing" like it was in the 80's but I cannot for the life of me understand why so many women get angry over their boyfriend or husband playing something. That gives off some mom vibes... "You are still playing this game!? You didn't even mow the lawn yet or take out the trash! If you don't get it done within the next hour, I am hiding the controller mister!" LOL
I completely agree, and those women that are into gaming are also among the most competent players of their chosen games. Why some still feel it's a wasted exercise when they could be joinin in and getting the same thrill of gaming for themselves is beyond me. It is a good stress relief, a great way to bond with someone, and a talking point when chatting to just about anyone these days. The anger over people getting involved in games is perplexing.

Simpsons was decent for the first...10 seasons or so, but now it really just needs to go away. Family Guy is just trash, same with American Dad...

I actually think both The Simpsons and Family Guy were great in their prime. Both are garbage now, however.
South Park is the only animated comedy I would say is still going strong. But sometimes it's too immature for my taste.
American Dad was never as good as prime Family Guy. And The Cleveland Show is the worst animated comedy I've ever seen.

South Park I agree with, it's still solid most of the time, though I feel like they pushed the Tegridy nonsense too far, and the PC Principal bit. Other than that it's usually pretty solid.
