We've had a few different ones floating around my family for the past 20 years. I think the one we mostly use is this tiny fibre-optic one where the bristles light up different colours.

I don't personally decorate at home because I can't be stuffed (and it's just been me for the past 5 years). My "wrapping" is also just grabbing shopping bags and scrunching them up around the present.

My mom got one of those fiber optic trees when I was like 12 or 13 and she has been obsessed with them since. lol I haven't done a tree myself. Me and Jay are going to make a joke tree when we buy a house and have more room for it. It will be a cat tree but with lights. LOL

And I am guilty of enjoying wrapping. So I tend to go for boxes and bows. I like to have everything match as well. This year I got some paper that is cats busting through a Christmas tree. lol

I'll ship you my presents (that I usually buy from the grocery store like three days before) so you can wrap them for me.

I really should make it a side hussle. lol I wrap gifts for my mom's friend every year. She gives me $30 to do it and it only takes me an hour.
Damn, that's a sweet gig.

One of the ladies from my church organises a Christmas wrapping station downtown every year, and it's just a gold coin donation (ie $1 or $2) that I think she puts towards the fund the churches uses for the school chaplain.

That's a good cause. I can't hate on that. I think it would be fun to do something like this and donate the money to cat shelters... As if I didn't sound enough like a crazy cat lady. :haha:
