I love talking about computers, so let's do that again...

What do you run? MacOS, Windows or Linux?

For me, personally, my main machine runs Win10 for now, dual-booting with Linux Mint, while my laptop is distro hopping and right now is doing quite nicely with ElementaryOS, ready to load Fedora next. How about you all? MacOS, Windows or Linux (or BSD, Unix, etc.)?

I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you're referring to as Linux,
is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I've recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux.
Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component
of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell
utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX.

Many computer users run a modified version of the GNU system every day,
without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of GNU
which is widely used today is often called "Linux", and many of its users are
not aware that it is basically the GNU system, developed by the GNU Project.

There really is a Linux, and these people are using it, but it is just a
part of the system they use. Linux is the kernel: the program in the system
that allocates the machine's resources to the other programs that you run.
The kernel is an essential part of an operating system, but useless by itself;
it can only function in the context of a complete operating system. Linux is
normally used in combination with the GNU operating system: the whole system
is basically GNU with Linux added, or GNU/Linux. All the so-called "Linux"
distributions are really distributions of GNU/Linux.

Also, Linux 100%. (y)

You're absolutely 100% correct and I do typically acknowledge that Linux is essentially just the kernel wrapped in GNU's offerings normally, but for an informal poll I didn't want to delve too far into the technical side of things. Since you brought it up, though, I will amend the poll :D

Edit -- or not, since I don't have sufficient permissions to edit poll options :D

Windows. I love updates that break the OS. Features being included that I don't need. Patches that introduce the need for more patches.

Seriously, though. I've been using Windows since I owned a computer. It's what I'm familiar with and while I've tried and played around with others, it's just what I like.

You should give some of the new releases of a few Linux distros a try, very full-featured and easy to use these days. Gets you away from Windows and yet can still feel very Windows-esque.

Linux and I hate change. Took me awhile to get off Windows but I don't even remember what Windows feels like anymore.
