Nearly 1 year later, is Dragon Ball FighterZ worth getting?

Dragon Ball FighterZ came out in January of 2018. Here we are nearly a year later and I am wondering, is it still worth getting?

I haven't played a Dragon Ball game in quite some time. I believe the last one I played was Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi and that is from 2011.

For those of you who have played it or currently still are, would you recommend it just as much today as you would have a year ago?

If I where you I would just get Xenoverse 2. Coming from someone who had both games Xenoverse 2 to me is better game. The only thing I really love about FighterZ is the new storyline that do with Android 21. But after that the game plan is what ever. The whole 2D game play just to me does not work anymore for video game now. That do wayyy to many button combes that make it harder to shot ki blast and you finish move..

I would only recommend the game if you love the new storyline with Android 21 as she being a fan favorite in DBZ now. People wanted her in Dragonball Super now or a future movie. Also if Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi is the last game play you been missing out big time. I would recommend Xenoverse 1 and then get Xenoverse 2. There basically a BETTER version of Ultimate Tenkaichi . With you being able to make your own fighter. But that a a cool time line storyline to play.

I think you can get it for Stream. Other while PS4 or Xbox One for Xenoverse 2. Xenoverse 1 you could have it on a PS3 but if you wanted to move thing over to Xenoverse 2 when done with the 1st game you should buy Xenoverse 1 on PS4. But I think both have it on Stream too. Not sure though I a PS player for the game.

It is on Steam, and I'm interested in it as well.
Definitely will wait for a sale though, price is too steep right now.

With PC its totally worth it when your talking about the full game (Im talking about Xenoverse 2) and the freaking endless amounts of mods! Just take a look at Xenoverse2mods.com trust me, you'll love it!

Depends do you like the Roster?
Are you into 2d fighters?
Can you live with a somewhat repetitive storymode?

Although dont worry its not as hard as other 2d Fighting games!

It depends! if you like 2d fighters or want to play as roshi you have no other choice!

Did you already play budokai tenkaichi 3 aside from the lack of Beerus (the character in DBS) its the db Game to end all Db Games!
