4chan is at it again...
Remember "Operation KKK" anyone? Yeah, they got a lot of people to fall for that and actually get angry at each other all while they laughed. It involved a certain "okay hand gesture" that was deemed moronically racist. So yeah, they are at it again and big surprise, they want to cause issues in the LGBT community.
The issue here is that what happens on 4chan shouldn't become mainstream news, that is what they want to happen and by reporting on it, you are playing right into their hands.
This is what they are planning for June:
Makes me so happy to not be a part of Twitter anymore, this is going to become a massive mess.
Now I for one am not blind to the reality that corporations use this month to gain more revenue and customers. They do it for holidays, why wouldn't they do it for Pride Month? The issue is, they are using people's sexuality as a marketing tool and I always thought that was rather shitty. It is good in that these businesses do donate to increase HIV testing, domestic abuse awareness (it is far more common in LGBT communities), and other issues that tend to slip people's minds the rest of the year yet still... People are getting taken advantage of. But I am a straight married woman so I guess my opinion on this isn't really going to matter to these folks anyways.
The thing is, this is America and these businesses function on capitalism, and part of capitalism is appealing to as many people as possible to gain and keep a constant flow of customers. Those who support Pride Month almost always see an increase in revenue for June, this is why many companies campaign their support through commercials, fundraising, and yada yada.
When a group of morons plans to attack something like this, they are looking to start trouble. They don't care about these businesses, they just want to see people turning against each other. Sound familiar? I don't know why MSM feels the need to pick up stories like this and pump it out into the public because they are just doing exactly what these trolls want and they are too stupid to see that. They know most of the general public doesn't have any idea about this website or that fact that it is basically dominated by trolls and people just dicking around. They see it as a legit problem and act in outrage over it. The best thing people can do with sites like this is to ignore them and if any serious threat is made, report it don't report on it.
We are going to go from one shit storm to another. Buckle up. 2020 isn't even halfway over yet...
