Do you have any?

For me, I get annoyed whenever neurotypicals don’t know what I am and what I am not capable of as an autistic individual. I don’t get upset at them personally because of it but it gets on my nerves.

To be fair, autism has so many branches these days most people just assume what they see on TV or read on some Facebook post about the topic and assume everyone is the same. lol

I have a few pet peeves...

When someone talks over me. Especially after asking me something and not letting me answer the question.

Another is someone that eats loudly. Like the smacking sound drives me nuts at times.

And one more is when people believe any conspiracy they hear or read online and then when you try to explain to them how it can't be real/true, they speak to you like they have authority because they "know something you didn't".

Im annoyed whenever someone tells me you'll grow out of XY I mean im an adult and i have been childish for my entire live i think that sticks in one form or another!

Adding another one. My mother with anything related to technology.

Over It Ugh GIF

Hmm I think when ppl talk loud in expected to be a little more mature places, like college. Some students that are all over 18 in-between classes or time off speak to others screaming, like if they were playing cards... Either they get somewhat high to be so hyped up in college they act like teens speaking loud as fuck thinking they're being cool or... Idk... I don't like when ppl are too formal either (not that it annoys me at all), but I like joking around and being provocative (all consensual and between friends who know the other will take as a joke and make fun of me back)... When an interaction is so formal, it gets tiring to me. Like, I try to reach a balance. But I'm unusually good to adapting to the person's style, since I'm fairly good at reading social cues, so when it's a conversation that I know won't last long, I can get along very well. But ofc I don't overstep boundaries by going along with an absolute asshole in a conversation just for the sake of not making it uncomfortable, if they're some PoS or say some absurd shit, I'd likely tell that to them openly if they were talking that to me --- not insulting me, but making racist, sexist, or outrageous comments/jokes in serious situations.

Back when I was in High School, whenever people were being loud in the library, I would always yell “Be quiet everyone! This is the library!”.

Well sometimes you just talk loud! I talk loud all the time without wanting to annoy anyone!

Yeah but there's a difference between talking loud and screaming when next to the person in a more specific setting imo
