Popular Series You Aren't A Fan Of

First, I would like to thank @Beerus for giving me this idea unintentionally, and second I was wondering what popular series that majority of people like that you just aren't a big fan. This can be video games, movies, anime, music, etc. I will name a few I have never been a fan Mario, Zelda, Archer, My Hero Academia, Grand Theft Auto, Halo, Gears of War, Sword Art Online, Fairy Tale, and One Piece to name some off of the top of my head.

As for TV shows, The Walking Dead comes to mind. I started it and lost interest in it after a few seasons. Also, I was never into Game of Thrones even though everyone and their mother seemed to be at the time. Not a fan of Family Guy or the Simpsons either. Older seasons of both are fine but anything new, meh. I also never watched Friends.

Movies... Anything related to Marvel, Star Wars, Disney remakes, and so on. I hardly ever watch movies.

Music, well... I don't know what is popular there anymore. I haven't listened to mainstream music in a long time. I can tell you that modern rap (pop-rap/lazy rap) is some of the worst crap to ever be made though.

I tend to just like what I like. If it happens to be popular with other people, so be it.... So Be... SoBe...

From the top of my head, Friends. It has that 90's humor that just don't fly now anymore.

Casa de Papel. Interesting but a bit too dramatic for my tastes, it didn't grow on me.

Anime, Tokyo Ghoul. I don't know why I've tried to like it but couldn't, wasn't curious enough to sit through the 2nd season.

I wouldn't have thought of this, but Tokyo Ghoul's a good answer for me. I also only saw the first season, and I love the finale because it's the only time I really felt like a series was personally attacking me but the rest of the series was kind of bland. Like just a boilerplate vampire human deals with turning to a monster story, with some over-the-top but not entertaining wacky characters that I felt detracted from my ability to invest. That said, I think the OP Unravel was more popular than the series, and I 100% agree with all the love that got.

For video games there's a lot but Skyrim is the first that come to mind. Open world games in general, I prefer linear experiences in gaming. To address Skyrim particularly, I'm not really a fan of that kind of fantasy setting so exploring that world isn't inherently interesting to me, and I think it's awesome that they filled the world with so much side-quests and content but this renders the main story an afterthought, so I lost all interest after the tutorial because I had no investment in the world and there was no incentive to play the main story because it didn't feel like it matter. I might've got hooked on the game and the world if the main story hooked me but the very nature of the game being open means the main campaign had to feel optional and that killed it for me.

For music, I don't like Beyoncé. That one song where she talks about Becky with the good hair I liked but the rest are either boring like Halo or incredibly annoying like Single Ladies. For movies, I don't know. Twilight I guess but I only barely watched the first one because my class at school decided to watch it twice in a row. I was one of the only two people in the class not happy with either viewings, though it was easy to ignore. TV Shows, The Office. I only saw a few episodes from season one which in fairness I hear isn't good, but what I saw was pretty boring, like only Dwight realized the show was suppose to be funny.

Tokyo Ghoul is just a Seinen version of Attack On Titan in a way. Gory and graphic, but just style over substance.
