Pornhub is Sex Trafficking?

This is a very serious topic and something I was already aware that was happening but I didn't know the full extent of the details.

I'm not a porn watcher but if anyone here frequents the site, use it with caution. You might be watching an abused woman or an underage girl who has been abused or groomed. People are going to do what they want with their bodies and since there is a paid market for it, plenty of grown men and women will take part in it for the cash or simply because they like performing for an audience. There is obviously a HUGE viewership out there for porn and that fuels this problem. While I don't particularly like what this industry does, taking down Pornhub won't solve the problem. I believe they need to be held accountable to the upmost degree but this kind of thing happens on other platforms. Twitter has a HUGE problem with sex trafficking and pedo rings that has still yet to be fixed. Same with Facebook and other social or video-sharing platforms.

More and more women are coming forward about being abused and their videos being on this site. Not only counts of rape and underage stalking, but girls as young as 3 years old have been sexually violated and the videos were on this platform, sometimes for years. What makes it worse is a lot of these accounts are run and managed by men who are abusing these girls and women and they are verified.

If I was in this industry and I knew this was happening on the site I belonged to, I would call for action. I would not continue using it and ignoring the problem. I hope more and more content creators on that site take a stand against it. There needs to be more protection in place. Advertisement companies need to pull out from the site until it is fixed.

This is why I tend to steer clear of porn in general. I know, I know, someone with such an obvious breast fixation, I must be a frequent viewer, right?!? Nope. Don't get me wrong, I was a teenager once, and ya' know...had to know...for science...and stuff...but since growing up a bit, it just doesn't tickle my fancy. I don't get a kick out of watching another man having sex with a woman I'm supposed to be interested in...in my mind that never logically made sense, I'm supposed to virtually cuckold myself to get off? What? No thanks, I'll wait for the real thing. Tangent aside, I've always been concerned after growing up seeing films where women were thrown into the sex trade (Eastern Promises, for example) that a lot of these so-called actresses were indeed there against their will, and those videos marketing themselves as teens hits me the wrong way, as well, because that literally refers to anyone 13-19...and it's not like we get to see their birth certificate in the video, is it? Plus, I find it odd that guys my age or older would be interested in videos advertised as teens...I know a few teenagers, including teenage girls, they're not people I enjoy spending time with because they can't carry a conversation to save their lives and they spend 90% of their time ON THE PHONE! Who would want that in their lives in a more intimate capacity?!? I'll stick to women my age, and preferably real ones...at least there's a chance of a decent conversation, even if the physical side of things doesn't end up going anywhere.

I digress (again) -- I'm agreed that there needs to be severe regulation on this particular form of...artistry...it's disgusting that people even look at underage kids in that particular fashion, but to exploit them sexually, film it, and try to profit from it? Or to be the one watching that video? That's just...it's grotesque. It's the same if someone is there against their will, that's rape. I know a lot of them in those instances are drugged beyond comprehension or blackmailed to the point where they're too afraid not to do what they're told, but that is still rape. I hate that such things exist in the real world and I hope like hell that anyone involved in the production of such stuff is caught and punished (Hell, they're so fond of making women go through such things, make the ringleaders the new stars of a gay porn site, see how they like taking non-stop shots in their mouths and asses, their audience still gets a product...). Stealing someone's life or taking a child's innocence from them for money...that's a level of depravity that should never exist in this world.

Completely agreed, there's nothing "hot" about children. Even if they're precocious enough to have the body of a woman (and in that particular category it's usually skewed in the looking younger category, which is even more disturbing), they'll still have the mind of a child, that part doesn't come until mid-20s (IMO, and even later for guys...). That's not appealing, at all. It takes a very sick mind to find young girls attractive.

Also, the whole "being attractive to young girls" is more about attractive to the idea of innocence and such and not actually wanting to fuck a child though I am sure there are cases where it is about that in which case fuck'em

After watching the video, I agree with Muta. I feel bad for the people involved and hope they get Justice in the end as well I can't support the Exodus Cry movement mainly because it is too radical and they are a strong religious movement that is anti-LGBTQ+, which is no beanu by me, but I can support the cracking down of such acts. As for PornHub being held responsible, I would say it is hard to say because yes they did allow it to uploaded and everything, but at the same time they don't know what is getting upload all the time and such, so I am in the middle because on one hand they should be held accountable as they allowed the videos to be hosted and everything, but other they didn't know personally.

It is but I would have done the same thing. It should not have to come to that. I feel like they do what YouTube used to do where "if no one is making noise about it, we'll allow it" kind of approach, and considering it is a site that is run on creator sex films, everything should be handled a lot stricter with the registration and such.

There's no way you should just be able to upload any video you want and that's the end of it. There has to be a screening process involved, it's insane that you can just upload like it was YT and that's just ok. Actual rapes, revenge porn, kiddie porn, that has absolutely got to be scanned for and removed and reported immediately.

Not only force administrators to check every clip posted, but also every user who posts and each people involved in the filming, like IDs, whereabouts, consent, everything. With the premise of jail. I know if some are persistent enough they can even bypass those, but one measure is always better than no measure. And if the website knew about it but turned their eyes, it's just as bad as the aggressor. Being complice to rape, abuse, pedophilia is absolutely disgusting.

Now I remember. That was funny because in that context it seems silly but when it comes to sites like Pornhub, it should be something they do to not only protect the women but the men involved. It just seems like the right way to handle this kind of content. I am pretty sure professional pornstars have to sign consent forms and contracts, this shouldn't be any different.

Consent could help stop some of the problem, like some of the underage parts, but people could definitely forge documentation and IDs to bypass that, and in the case of unwilling participants and potential genuine rape videos, it's not that hard to convince a woman scared for her life to sign away her rights to have her most degrading moments publicly (more or less) broadcast on a site like pornhub. I don't know how regulations could be reasonable enforced, but there absolutely needs to be some level of governance over the porn industry, and such free-flowing sites where you can just upload a video on a whim and that's good enough...that needs to be done away with. Screening every movie needs to be a thing to bring about proper questioning where needed. I'm sure there are plenty of people who would welcome the chance to screen porn for a living, just hopefully enough of them are decent enough people to report the issues they find.
