There is a high percentage of PlayStation 4 players not leaving it behind. PlayStation 5 is selling pretty well, but the game attach rate is lower than previous generation. Many people aren't seeing the reason for moving up, upgrading or buying a new console like PS5...

It amazes me how low the sales for the PlayStation 5 are in comparison to past PlayStation consoles in general. Do you think PC has anything to do with this?

Yes, and no. I blame Microsoft more than the PC gamers. I want to do a video on this. Because this fucking shit is hurting our overall industry in ways we won't recognize in 10 years.

Microsoft killed gaming as we know it today, and nobody knows it. I do. And I'm not happy about it.

Yeah Microsuck is the reason so much BS is capped, prices increased, games suck, and things are riddled with micro transactions, crossovers, and subscription models.

Everything that made console gaming great was ruined by them.

I think you two are right. I’m starting to realize why I’ve always stuck to Nintendo and Sega over the years instead of branching out. I respect Sony, but I didn’t want to branch out to them in the past because of their unhealthy rivalry with Microsoft.

Sony and PlayStation followed the business model of Nintendo. They have different business models, one is kiddy, the other one is "cool." Nintendo is basically Disney in the game industry. Sony is like the cool kid in school.

Sega could have been the 3rd company in this dynamic, but Sega fell right after Saturn.

Microsoft keeps changing their business model over the years, and it hurt gaming little by little.

The perfect example of how to release a game console from Microsoft's shoes would be Xbox 360. But then they tried to change things with Xbox One and onwards.

Again I wanna do a video on this.

But I need to set up the story.
