so recently I started watching DB series and I got to the beginning of the garlic saga in DBZ. Then I got a little confused because as I went from the first series of DB to DBZ everything was fine but now only the actions of one appear as if I skipped episodes. I realized that there are movies between individual episodes of DBZ, so I want to ask you what you all watched, how did you start and how did you end up watching DB series? If you did ofc :)

I started watching DBZ on Toonami in the late '90s. I didn't watch the movies until after that. I eventually went back and watched DB as well as GT.

Similar. I did the series DBZ first, then DB, then GT, and interspersed the movies in when I first discovered them. I wouldn't put much stock in when to watch the movies, they're not integral to the storylines, just nice pieces of fanservice.

By browsing the Dragon Ball Forum on Neoseeker in 2009 and meeting Mishimi, who got me into Dragon Ball Z, followed by Dragon Ball. I could never get past the Baby Saga in GT however, so I dropped that.

My second earliest memory in life is seeing a commercial for Dragon Ball Z on Toonami and going "I have to see that". So I started with Toonami, from the very first episode of Dragon Ball Z. Then I kind of just watched the movies as they came to me, I definitely saw most of the movies before Dragon Ball Z finished on Toonami, and I probably still have a few of them on VHS somewhere in my house. As for Dragon Ball & GT, I don't remember which I tried to watch first. I definitely saw several episodes of Dragon Ball just randomly throughout my life and I tried giving GT a go but couldn't get through it.

I was introduced to Dragon Ball Z at the age of four, and I've only gone through Dragon Ball for the first time all the way through like a year or two ago in the manga. GT I'm still not sure I'll ever bother with.

I saw the Saiyan Saga on Toonami in 2005.

Then, when I turned 18 in 2007, I got my first job and bought my first very own PC.

It was on that PC that I discovered a now-gone website called Watch-Dragonball. It had every episode of Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, and GT as well as every Dragon Ball movie... all for free.

It's funny looking back, because it was Ocean Dub until Frieza started fighting, then it went to the Funimation Dub. I was thrown off by Vegeta's voice changing lol.

Similarly, it was all Bruce Faulconer soundtrack until a patch of like 15 episodes during the Imperfect Cell part. Then it went back to Faulco er for the rest of the series.

I watched all of it too. Every episode of every series and every movie.
