Dragon Ball Z Raditz doesn't look like Bardock....

Raditz legit looks like the son of King Vegeta and Gine. Does no one else see this? When you look at Goku, you can clearly see he looks like his father. When you look at Vegeta, he clearly looks like his father. But Raditz? He looks like Vegeta with more hair and a bigger frame. I swear something was going on on Planet Vegeta that no one wants to talk about!

Didn't they explain somewhere along the line that there are only so many Saiyan appearances and it's not related to heritage? At any rate, yeah, definitely looks more like Vegeta than Bardock, no question.

Then again, Saiyans are basically one step above apes, so...makes sense they're going at each other all the time, they must be 90% related...those, poor, poor Saiyan women...

Yep, Uncle King Daddy Vegeta is also Prince Cousin Step-son Vegeta's grandfather, and Goku's brother and fifth cousin twice removed...

What would be hilarious is if Vegeta found out he and Goku were VERY closely related. I think he would have a nervous breakdown and kill Yamcha.

It would be the ultimate smack in the face if Bardock and Vegeta were brothers, or even somehow shared the same wife (ya' know...filthy monkeys...), and they were essentially cousins, except through some twist of fate Goku would somehow have been next in line...what an ego crusher that would've been for Prince Vegeta...

I’m inclined to agree that Saiyan genetics aren’t very spread apart, especially in Universe 7 where the population seemed to be smaller because they were constantly at war.

Makes you think why Vegeta had this deep rooted belief that hybrids were superior. Perhaps U7 Saiyans practiced some form of eugenics to keep things pure. However flawed their strategy may have been. As it stands there are no other documented half-breeds before Goku wound up on Earth.

You can see there are diffrences though. Some are bald, some have butt chins, some have fat faces, sqaure faces, long faces.

I mean to me, there people look pretty different. It seems that Goku's and Vegeta's families are the ones that share characteristics with others on a larger scale...

Honestly, I always thought that the reason why Raditz looks the way he does is so the difference between Goku and him. If they both looked alike then it would confusing as well even in real life siblings don't always look alike.
