Having watched the DBZ series several times, I can still sit down and watch it and enjoy it. Granted, I do need to take breaks in between but I feel overall, I can continually enjoy it and never bore of it myself. If we had a scale for it(re-watchability?), I would put it at a 7. It is very rewatchable but not on a constant basis. Of all the animes I have watched, it scores the highest in this regard as well.

How do you all feel about it in terms of re-watch value?

I rewatch Kai in Japanese from time to time. I enjoy the conciseness of the manga and the Japanese voices. I do realize some people are of the opinion that English Kai > Japanese Kai because of the acting. IT DOESN'T MATTER TO ME! I frickin' love Masako Nozawa! She's like my grandma and you don't mess with grandma!

I am going to sound like an asshat here but is the Funimation dub different from the one I grew up watching that aired on Toonami?

Nah, but once you watch in Japanese it is hard to go back. I can do either one.

Also as far as re-watch I would say it depends. If you really enjoy the show then it has a lot, but if you can take it or leave it then it holds less value. Personally, I mainly rewatch The Frieza and Cell Saga from time to time

I can probably rewatch all of Dragon Ball, but that's because they kept the Japanese music and Funimation did a better job at it than they did DBZ.

For some reason though, Funimation did even worse at GT than they did DBZ... That might actually be part of the reason why GT gets so much hate.

If I can find the Ocean dub, I watch that, but I don't spend a lot of time rewatching the Funimation dub, and I will on occasion watch the Japanese audio, but in general I don't re-watch a ton of DB/Z/etc. unless I'm really in the mood.

Very high for me. And I started with the Funimation dub, so there's that. I've rewatched DBZ more times than I can count on both hands at this point.

I've already watched and read it so many times that I don't get a full enjoyment if viewing it one more time. I've a photographic memory of most events. Still, I occasionally pick some segment of the manga to reread, either from personal enjoyment or to be infromed when taking part of a debate.

There was a time in my life I wouldn't be open to other series besides Dragon Ball. I'm way more open nowadays, so much so I finished two new series in this quarantine, which is like a pretty big accomplishment considering the big procrastinator I am
