People should not be afraid of their governments, governments should be afraid of their people. Want change? Make it happen, don't rely on politicians who have zero interest in your concerns.

Really though, this shows where Google and many other interests lie in these big corporations. Do you think they care about diversity? Blacks? Gay groups? Trans people? No... They don't give a rat's ass about any of that. It has always been about money and it will always be about money. Social politics was used as a distraction tool by the ultra-wealthy to keep ups dumbed down and broke.

Yeah, Gamestop was midway through bending over and taking a huge pounding, then they got a temporary reprieve, and the second this push is over, they're going to get absolutely impaled by the collective poles of bad business and financial ruin. All that's happened is a temporary reprieve that's then going to ultimately accelerate the demise of this generation's Blockbuster. Soon it'll be "Remember Gamestop? Went there all the time, but they failed to adapt to changing times and trends and now they're long gone..."

It is still happening, but they cooled the fire down because one the subreddit was getting to big, two there was gonna be a investigation on them if it continued to gained support and everything, and three the main ones who were wildin' were doing for the lols more or less

I'm sure it has more to do with the fat pigs on wall street worrying about their hedgefund schemes. Either way, I am happy it helped some people. I know one guy is worth like 37 million now and he didn't even make 80k a year prior to that. Good for him and his family. I saw some younger people who made a lot donating to schools and hospitals.

Yeah, the fat cats of wall street were going launch a investigation and everything because you know...Eat the Poor. Yeah, it helped many people and some even used to help their communities like one guy bought a bunch of iPads and iMacs and donated them to his local public school and such
