It wasn't too bad. It was a freemium Sim-City kind of game where Homer destroys Springfield with the Power Plant and has to begin rebuilding. It's one of those timewasters where you send them to do tasks to unlock things, progress the story, earn in-game currency...
Like the show, they did fly too close to the sun and start injecting politics and crap into it, but aside from that it was enjoyable. Just a little cozy game where you can build Springfield however you want and send the characters on little tasks and a lot of actions had animations and stuff as they did them. It was like having a little Simpsons ant farm.
