Small Connections Throughout the Series

I know there are a number of more minor details that are often overlooked or forgotten throughout the anime.

There are several nods to Dragon Ball in DBZ - for example - the similar shirts worn by young Bulma in Dragon Ball and Vegeta in Dragon Ball Z.

What other small connections do you know of or remember throughout the series? :thinking:
 
I know that they reference the Red Ribbon Army a lot in later Story Arcs. Whether you like the Red Ribbon Army Arc or not, you can at least appreciate how much it's brought back into the story.

The Garlic Junior saga includes numerous callbacks to the Piccolo Daimao arc, including the return of the demon race, the Super God Water, and even the bell from Karin that Goku wears to get into the Heavenly Realm. Also the outfits that Bulma and Yamcha wear are the same ones they were wearing during the end of the Daimao arc.

First Red Ribbon was Great the best mix of Action and Adventure in the series and Amzing Places! And aside From reds Personality being reused for Magenta theres nothing Red Ribbon in the 2 Sequels of it!

Red Ribbon sucked after Muscle Tower. Although I was genuinely impressed by Tao Pai Pai.
 
The Red Ribbon Army Arc also makes connections to the Dr Slump Manga. I forgot about that.

I mean less the arc as a whole and more a few chapters in the Arc being a Crossover!
BTW the Manga Never specifies the whole Penguin Village is in a diffrent Dimension so what the heck happend to Arale! (I guess she just dodged the Blast of Super Buu and then Floated in space for a bit!
That or she can be wished back with the dragonballs!)
