You're a good artist and you should continue your craft. You know what HellPerp aka Sin Salt....whatever the hell he wants to call himself these days says, "Draw every day!" It's what Ethan Becker says and he's a professional who has worked for Dreamworks and he makes funny YT videos. Like this one....
Feel free to practice with any one of my OCs and to use the art as references for learning. HellPerp would want you to practice and use references like Ethan Becker says, "Stop using your little baby brain and USE PROFESSIONAL REFERENCES!!"I have certain things I can draw really good but other parts I struggle with a lot. You can tell which parts I struggle with in my pictures. I learned to draw things by eyeballing them so it makes it hard for me to actually watch other people draw and learn from them. Most of them use a specific format, especially for anime characters, and I can't for the life of me get good at it. I am sure if I drew more, I would improve. I have two new sketchbooks but only used one page so far and didn't finish it yet. Just Vegeta looking like he wants to kick someone arse.
One of the first anime-type drawings I did was of a Dratini. I used to collect those Pokemon cards as a kid and I drew is from looking at the card. My issue has always been not improving because I go through periods of drawing a lot to months, sometimes years with drawing next to nothing.
I subbed to that Becker fella. What he said in the video does make sense. I mean most of what I draw, I am referencing something. When I don't, I often find myself losing interest real fast.Feel free to practice with any one of my OCs and to use the art as references for learning. I love it

This will be my next attempt at using alcohol-based markers.
Well, when I get around to going over it with a marker on the right paper. lol
Nah, that is the face of realizing you messed up your family's legacy, lolLooks amazing!

I mean, from that angle and that smirk...it does kinda look like someone's wearing a butt plug.Nah, that is the face of realizing you messed up your family's legacy, lol
It's a bird, it's a plane, it's Super Anal Man!I mean, from that angle and that smirk...it does kinda look like someone's wearing a butt plug.![]()
Looks pretty damn good to meThe pack of markers I got only had one shade of orange so the ball got messed up but eh.
Attempt number two:

I had to use yellow and it makes a weird streaking. I feel like the paper I am using isn't the best for these kinds of markers but still usable. I'll have to try to find something else that would work better for blending because it does feather a bit too much.I agree, that looks excellent, the ball looks just fine from where I'm sitting, and Beerus looks...well...Beerus-y. Nicely done!
Probably best to learn from YouTubers. Using a digital pad is a lot different from paper. I am still not completely comfortable using one yet. I still have to draw by hand first.Important question, if Im transfering from doing physical art to digital art, where can I learn?
