Switch from Z Kai to Z.

Good morning DBF,

My fiance and I are rewatching dragon ball, or rather, I am rewatching and she is surprisingly enjoying it a lot. We started with kai because i thought she wouldnt want to see a 3 episode charging of the Spirit bomb.
but after having the feeling of missing a lot of fun and nonsense, we want to swap to DBZ after the frieza saga.

Should we start at season 4 (episode 108 Terrible Happenings in Heaven!! Garlic Jr. to Become Kami!? ), right after dbz kai's episode 54 '"Goku Vanishes in Space... Return to Life! Super Warriors' or do you beloved fans suggest a better transition?

I guess if you want to keep the intrigue and pacing, I'd start from Episode 11 (Frieza's Counterattack). But at this stage, if you're already watching Kai, I honestly don't see any reason to stop (unless you want to watch the driving one). As much as I don't see myself ever watching Kai again, the pacing seems like it would be horrendous to just jump out of it mid-series.

The only reason I'd swap is to listen to the dub soundtrack, but judging by the fact you used the Japanese transliteration, I'm guessing you're not too worried about that.

could just watch the full filler arcs! While watching kai for the canon stuff
 
Kai is more accurate but now I prefer the creativity of the filler in the Anime. There are some lows like Garlic Junior or the Boo Saga filler, but for the most part the filler in Z and DB for that matter flesh out the characters.

The Main issue is the fight stretching tho!
So just watch kai and then watch the filler arcs if you want too?
