Video Games Tempted to get Halo 3

I am just not sure it is worth it. They released it on Steam for $10. It seems like it gets an average of 7,000 players on it daily in terms of online but that isn't much and I think that might be including the other Halo games. Not really sure. I never finished the campaign. I started it 3 different times years after the game was released. I did enjoy playing it online but it might not be as fun all these years later.

I don't want this to be me:

It wasn't my favorite and I wasn't a kid when I played it but still.

Has anyone on here played the Steam version?

I have the Master Chief Collection on Steam. It's the same version from Xbox 360 all those years ago. Coming from Halo 2 Anniversary which is a HUGE graphical leap and then to that one feels like such a downgrade. The remaster of the original Halo looks real nice too. Reach is gtg as well and is one of my favorite Halo games along with ODST.

You play any of them online? I would play the campaign with Jay but I would like to play online as well.

I've played ODST Firefight online. It ran smooth.

Don't have the Steam version, but it's still fun to play, IMO. I play MCC on Xbox every now and then and it's just nice to reminisce sometimes, though I do agree that going from Halo 2 Remastered to 3 does spoil it a bit, given how amazing the remasters look, but 3 is still a fun game
