It looks an awful lot like another origin story remake, which...yawn. Don't get me wrong, it looks like it could've been a good movie, but how many times do we need a "OMG Bruce Wayne is Batman and the villain knows?!?" story? It would just be nice to see something more than that for once.

I could be wrong because there are actors with unannounced roles. Maybe Hush is involved in some way. It would make sense with how dark of a tone they’re going for.

Yeah it appears the taped of fella is the Riddler. I guess there are ties to Hush and the Riddler in the comic so maybe this leads to him? Seems a bit weird though.

I'm not sure I have much to say here, it seems fine, I guess. I like The Riddler, and he can be one of the more fun and interesting villains, but you can get really get a sense of how well they'll handled him in these format. The best thing about Riddler is well, the riddles. Putting Batman in these controlled environments where Batman really needs to showcase his detective side, using his wits to escape and stop him. And this isn't an easy thing to pull off, the reason why Riddler was in so few episodes of B:TAS was because of how difficult his episodes were to write. So even if they're going further with Riddler in this aspect, they could easily mess it up.

Beyond that, the one thing I actively disliked was Batman's ruthlessness against that thug. I get that he needs to set in fear to the criminals and Gotham and all, but it feels decidedly un-Batman to me for him to continuously pummel a downed person like he did here.

I am looking forward. Will be interesting to see Patty as The Batman though. I will try to watch it with an open mind and not see him as a mosquito vampire.

So I might be more interested in this now that a few things have been brought to my attention.

The director of the movie might be pulling inspiration from two movies, Se7en and Zodiac. This means it is going to be a similar energy and feel to The Joker. There are going to be 6 villains in the movie as well: Catwoman, The Penguin, The Riddler have all been shown to be in the movie. Another one that might make an appearance based on casting twin actors is Two Face. Carmine Falcone is one of Batman's oldest villains and since this movie takes place 2 years into him being Batman, he is very likely to be in the movie.

And I have got to say, his Court of Owls theory does not seem that far off as the final villain playing a role in all this.

Also, I still don't think this movie will be that great because if you make it too "edgy" people will hate it, and vice versa. Overall Comic Book movies need to stop

I enjoyed the Joker for what it was. It wasn't too edgy but was close at times. I am not a movie person though so if I like a movie, tons of other people will likely like it as well or I will be like one of seven people who like it. lol

The Joker is what I like to call actually Edgy and not what people like to think Edgy is because even I enjoyed it.

That is what I thought but someone else said she would likely be greed and I guess that would be the smarter move.
