While technically in the main MArvel Universe Black Nick Fury is the Son of Classic Nick Fury In Other Universes and the MCU only Black Nick Fury is Featured!

Spiderman is mixed (black/Latino) and bisexual apparently.

I don't pay attention to Marvel anymore. This is what happens when you change characters for the sake of "diversity" and the stories suffer. I lost interest in them and hero movies/comics like 10 years ago.

Someone must be buying it though and cheering it on, otherwise, it would have stopped by now.

I have no issue with them changing things and I get it, they want their fanbase to feel more included - but there is a better way to go about it and I feel like creating new characters and maybe retiring ones they don't need right now would have been a better move. Eh. Oh well.

What??? I mean there are other Spidermen do you mean them or actually Peter Parker?

There are (or were) two running Spider-Man: Peter Parker as we know and love, and Miles Morales (I didn't know they decided to make him bi, but not surprised). I don't know if it's still the case, but I think they had two different issues of Spider-Man for each one, so that people could follow the story of whichever.

Let's not forget, Marvel honestly tried to pitch these ridiculous new characters a few years ago, and were rightfully ridiculed:

I had a Marvel subscription that I used to read older stuff, but I cancelled it a year or so ago because I was getting sick of the crap they were pulling. It's all going downhill. DC too. Comic sales are declining, and they double down on this rubbish instead of realising they're fighting a losing battle by catering to a handful of people.

Comics have always been "woke" to some degree - X-Men exists as social commentary for black rights, for example. And if you read older stuff, the commentary does bleed through. But they're definitely pushing beyond that into very polarising commentary like comparing Jordan Peterson to Red Skull.
