For a long time, I just accepted that Screw Attacks' analysis was correct. But the more I think it over, the more I question the things they chose to measure and consider things they chose to ignore.
Firstly, they measured Goku's speed by measuring... animation. That in of itself is hardly an accurate thing to measure, since the size of Snake Way's spikes have no bearing on anything and there's nothing real-world to even compare them to.
They then "adjusted it according to gains Goku made since then" and then applied the standard SSJ multipliers of 50x, 4x, 4x.
Then I'd like to point out how they compared our Earth size to DCU'S Earth size.
But how is that more objective than the statements made in Dragon Ball that fighters were moving faster than the eye can see.
That IS measurable by comparing it to our own eye's limitation, right? The same way that DCU's Earth was assumed to be the same as ours, right?
If you start the base measurement at that point and adjust it using the same aforementioned calculations, I bet you get a speed that is absurdly faster.
Secondly, if I remember correctly, they used a non-canon (Underworld Tournament) scene to gauge Goku's base strength.
On top of that, while Goku himself may not have measurable destructive feats, they chose to ignore any feats of villains that Goku has at least surpassed. Namely Frieza.
Frieza destroyed a planet (Namek).
Now, knowing basic physics, it takes far more force to bust something open with a sharp object than to pull it on a rope. For instance, if I tried to stab a pumpkin as hard as I could with a steel spike, it would take all of my strength to bust it wide open. While it would be easy to wrap a rope around it and pull it with my arms.
That said, Frieza's feat alone surpasses Superman's.
Then factor in all of the gains made Post-Namek and Superman takes a dirt nap from Base End of Z Goku... let alone SSJ or higher.
