The Main Z Fighters

There's something I've noticed... The main z fighters between each major villain story arc/saga changes... And there's always five of them.

Piccolo Daimao/23rd Budokai - Goku, Krillin, Yamcha, Tenshinhan, Chaozu

Saiyan/Freeza - Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, Piccolo, Krillin

Androids/Cell - Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, Trunks, Piccolo

Majin Boo - Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, Trunks, Goten

Has anyone else noticed this? XD

Don't really agree with the Dragon Ball example, Goku and Tien are the only characters who are actually relevant in both those arcs. Krillin is too dead during King Piccolo to be a main character for it. Yamcha, even while alive, did nothing in King Piccolo (and not like he does much in the Tourney). And Chiaotzu's role is pretty minimal in both arcs. If we're lumping the two story arcs together, I'd say Roshi deserves a slot more than either Yamcha or Chiaotzu.

Z's on point though.

The name Z warriors is pretty stupid tho! The name toriyama uses is much better dragon team which refers to the entire gang nonfighters included!
Also what does the Z even stand for? DBZ? So why dont we call them super or Gt fighters in other Eras!
