It will because a lot of people ignore optics. They see Nolan and think "this will be a great movie!". And then you have people that will hate watch it. Supergirl was a nothing burger. Even if it was a decent movie, it wouldn't have done great because people are tired of super hero movies.

I'm not tired of superhero movies, but they haven been done correctly for a while now. I would watch Deadpool all day.

I think people have feminist fatigue, and saw stupidgirl as one. Also the actress couldn't keep her mouth shut, and imo she's not attractive.

I am kinda pissed off, because I love female heroes, I'm you got Xena, Elektra, Wonder Woman, and the Bride (Kill Bill). Woman can be attractive, and strong without coming across as cringe.

Hollyweird has destroyed entertainment, so fuck 'em. I think everyone has hollyweird fatigue at this point.

Yeah I have had it for a long while. I stopped watching movies ages ago and am just going back and watching older TV series I never watched.

I did that a while back. I cut cable back '16. I started buying tv series, then I started watching older series I never saw by buying cheap copies. I saw the Office, One Tree Hill and The OC.

Now I found a site that will send me shows on USB, and I'm getting shows I watched as a teenager. Flavor of Love, Mob Wives (gwad, I miss VH1)

I want to say thank God, Xena was made in the 90's and Kill Bill in the 00's. Those are lightning in a bottle, and couldn't be remade today. Same with Elektra. And no one will ever replace Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman.

And just think these shows were "edgy" at the time. They look so innocent now.
