I will say that I do feel sorry for Page. She was likely groomed and abused in Hollywood and that is why she trans'd herself. There is a clear path in that direction and it starts with sexual and emotional abuse. We know it happens to a lot of young actresses.

And no one thought to tell her how ridiculous she looked in that suit? She has no real friends, it is sad. And Nolan must have known she would be mocked being cast for that role but what does he care? Need to check off those modern audience points!

Sydney Watson claimed that he apparently has been quoted saying he spends practically zero time online, and that's probably why he doesn't realise this is no longer a winning issue.

He probably doesn't. I would imagine a lot of hollywood people don't. I wouldn't if I was famous. It is probably bad for mental health.

The book the movie is based on is a feminists take on the Odyssey. And it shows. The poor casting. Poor costumes. Poor story points. I made the right choice in deciding not to watch this long, long ago. The last movie I watched in theaters was The Dark Knight Rises. The irony of it being a Nolan film. I can't remeber the last movie I watched in general though. I prefer TV series. More time for story telling and proper character building.
