At current rate unless we have a major world war or a super pandemic that kills tens of millions of people we'll be there about 2045-2050. Joy! So well within our lifetimes and when I'm an older man and super bitchy!

There is still plenty of room. I mean as of now, touching shoulders, everyone can fit in the state of Texas. They just need to work on downsizing (especially the rich who own WAY too much land, more than they need) and making better use of space without cutting into more wildlife. I'd imagine eventually people will be living under water.
 
Wanted to give this a bump. Last year, 58.39 people died in the world. 59.23 is projected to be the number for this year. Currently 45ish million.

Considering we had a virus hit us that sent the world into a panic, gotta say those numbers aren't dipping nearly as much as the "experts" said.
 
We need to move into space and fast. I'm all in favor of Lagrange point colonies like in Gundam except without the space Nazi Zeon :LOL:

Like I said though, shit won't hit the fan until we reach 10 billion people, which is speculated to be sometime in the 2050s.
