Transformation tree discussion

It is canon in the anime so it counts. The manga will always have differences in it. Filler is usually needed to hype up animation and fill in gaps for the story to make it more enjoyable to watch.

Not exactly true. I view the manga and the anime as separate but equal since they take different paths covering the same event. They both go into Broly as co-equals, but what comes out the other side will be "canon" going forward. Kefla made a very brief cameo in the Broly movie so it just depends on which version of Kefla you think it is, manga or anime.
