I was 12 when I started watching but I was watching way worse much younger. My mom let me watch horror movies and play Mortal Kombat so this was not a big deal. :haha:

DBZ was big when I was 8. Of course Pokemon was bigger. But no one was violent, even when we were running around acting out that or Star Wars.

As far as DBZ goes, it's not really that far over the line even uncensored. And let's face it, kids are exposed to so much more dangerous stuff than a couple of muscley dudes screaming at each other for 20 minutes a day.

There is so much trash online these days and most parents don't even pay attention to what their kids are doing. I remember when I accidentally found hentai for the first time looking for pictures of Bulma to practice drawing. I think I was 13 and I was in shock. LOL It is 100 times worse now.
 
I of course dont think any kid will imitate it im just saying i wouldnt wanna show my Kid some of the many Gory Scenes!
To be fair i could start by showing it DB!

It's really not that bad though. Like the only things that grossed me out as a kid was Cell drinking the dude and Spopovich's head twisting around. It's not age appropriate for a 3-year-old, by any means, but there's really nothing in there that an 8-year-old couldn't watch responsibly.
 
Being the oldest thing on this forum, I can say at 15-16 I was enthralled with DBZ. I bought all those expensive ass VHS tapes with 3-4 episodes on them. I couldn't care less! I bought movies 1-13 on VHS fan subbed off Ebay. I couldn't get enough of this foreign violence! :LOL: Here I stand nearly 20 year later and I'm still that same DBZ lovin' little mofo! ;)

The way that article's formatted really makes it look like Frieza's eyeing down some Goku dick, like only one of them's coming to blows there.

Anyway, I started watching Dragon Ball Z when I was 4 and nothing violent ever came from it.
