Dragon Ball Z Weaker Saiyans Are Sent Off?

In DBZ, shortly after Future Trunks arrives, Vegeta starts to train to become a Super Saiyan. He injures himself training and is asleep dreaming about having a conversation with his father. King Vegeta says to him that weaker Saiyans are sent far away to different planets where they won't be harmed by their enemies. It showed several pods leaving the planet. If this is factual, wouldn't this mean that there were loads of Saiyans out in the universe that are likely still alive somewhere?

That's the thing. Given the fact Goku was out there, and he wasn't the only baby of the time, it stands to reason there should be at least a dozen or so other saiyans left in U6, even if a few were killed growing up.

If this is the case, I think it could be interesting to introduce more of them. Have another Saiyan who is a bad guy that isn't Broly.

I'd even accept another Saiyan who is just apparently a warlord since by the time he would've finished his job and signaled to go back to Planet Vegeta and realized there was nobody left. Heck, I'd like it if he were just a threat in a part of the universe not normally observed and presented himself as a threat to Frieza.

Frieza off rebuilding his empire away from Goku and Vegeta, dreaming of the day when he gets his revenge when he runs into another Saiyan who is even more powerful and cruel than he and needs Goku and Vegeta's help. It would also be a good growth point for Vegeta in particular who sees what he used to strive to be and can beat it. I'd actually like it to be a Vegeta/Gohan piece so Vegeta can see past his Saiyan pride to better appreciate Gohan, who in turn becomes more of his own man outside of his job and being a father.

True, but I think, personally, that the "weaker" saiyans no matter the training couldn't amount to the "stronger" saiyans. You could break this down into Eugenics, but...

There is a good chance thinking about it now that Frieza knew he was doing this and just sent people after the pods to kill them.

We should really make a fan reimaging of Dragon Ball Z and everything because it would be dark as fuck, and that is a possibility as well. Though Frieza could have known that weaker Saiyans are rocketed off and as such couldn't care less as they wouldn't be a main threat to him as opposed to the stronger ones.

It would just end up so bad, we wouldn't be able to rate it. It would be like an unrated director's cut every other episode/chapter.
