There has been no mention of it. Not even a whisper. I don't know if they are working on it and keeping it a secret or they are waiting until the manga is complete before they start. How do they normally do this? I feel like they need to make an announcement soon considering their profits are dipping and people are losing interest again.
 
I imagine we'll reach the end of the manga before they announce anything more, honestly. Or maybe it's time for the next big movie? Might explain the lull in activity? Just hopefully it's a decent one, should that be the case.

*waits for it...*Coming this summer, the sequel no one wanted to see! *cut to house interior* I AM MUTEN ROSHI!! In a world where we've already closed off this nightmare of a storyline that made no sense and featured actors who looked more like they were constipated than fighting in martial arts scenes comes the epic conclusion to the already concluded first movie. I check for this like at least once a week and only ever find stuff about the next chapter of the manga. I am really hoping they announce the anime will return next year before the year is over. 2020 could use some good news.
