I know that most people here are going to tell me to get a 360 but I’m genuinely curious which console I should get since I’ve always been a Nintendo guy first and I also prefer Sony over Microsoft which is why I got a PS3 over a 360 last Christmas. I also acknowledge the 360 is a far better console though and I would be expanding my horizons more if I got that instead and plus I already have a Wii.
 
The Wii U was not a good console. I think it was Nintendo's worst one. Since you already have a Wii (which is better than the U), I would go with a 360.

Just putting it out there, the U can still play Wii :)

I honestly think getting a cheap Wii U (with the gamepad) and jailbreaking it gives a really top tier console (for its gen). I used to use it as a "we have a Steam Deck at home" to stream games from my desktop using Moonlight

But as an official release, yeah, it was pretty poor.

I mean yeah if you are partial to Nintendo already and there are more games you'd play with a U vs a 360 than get that.
 
And the Wii can still play GameCube.

I want to play Super Mario 3D World, Sonic Lost World, and Breath Of The Wild. Maybe Donkey Kong too.

However, I do want to play Banjo & Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, and if my social life improves in the future I would like to play Halo with friends too.
