I just signed up for the YMCA without the option to cancel my membership for a full year, no ifs ands or buts about it. Time to get healthier in both my mind and my body!

Probably Monday. If my Dad feels like taking me that day. I don't really have a set time to exercise though. There's going to be freedom for me over there to do what I want when I want.

Set. A. Time.

Hold yourself to that time.

Make it happen.

Or it won't.

If your dad can't take you, find a way to get there yourself.

Oh, I get what you mean now. I should start practicing making a schedule for myself to follow.

Once you continually do something at a set time it becomes a habit, which makes the habit harder to break.

If you don't have the habit, it's just a "I'll do it tomorrow" and then tomorrow comes "I can go the next day..."

They say once you hit a 10 to 15 pound loss, your motivation shoots through the roof. Keep going!

I walked my dogs in my neighborhood and exercised at the YMCA both enough this week to earn a day of rest (Friday). My arms and calves feel sore every now and then.

I’m weighing myself every now and then. Last week I didn’t do as well in both diet and exercise so I fluctuated, but I think I may have gained some muscle too. What I eat isn’t as important as how much I eat though because the quality of my diet is better than the quantity of it. This week though I’ve had better self control over how much I eat in general so that’s good.
