Looking like our last day of summer weather will be Wednesday with a high of 79. The rest of the 10-day forecast is 74 or below, most days being in the 60s. Friday night is going down to 51 degrees. Might have a bonfire.

I'd give anything for a freak blizzard to come rolling through AZ and cool it off. I don't know why I live here, honestly, it's too hot most of the time and outside of there being no real devastating natural disasters that take place here (seriously, we only get wildfires [ok, they are devastating, but also mostly take place in the wild country], monsoons and giant sandstorms called haboobs [so maybe it is perfect for me :D]), there's just...nothing nice...

I mean the wildlife has got to be pretty cool though, right?

People always complain about Ohio but we don't get much here. Sometimes a bit too much snow or rain and the occasional tornado down south but that is it.

Yeah, there is some neat wildlife you can see, like bobcats and mountain lions, and like I mentioned in an earlier post, we're infested with a colony of desert bunnies that run rampant throughout the neighborhood, so I suppose there is that. We do also get diamondback rattlesnakes and scorpions to balance out the cool animals...and that's...not so cool...but I guess even that is countered by places like Tubac, Sedona, Tombstone, Flagstaff, Prescott Valley and so on...those are amazing places to visit. So...yeah, AZ does have it's good parts, but the summers are a real nightmare.

The heat and the wildfires have to be the biggest negatives of living there.
