I started watching anime thanks to Toonami. I don't recall the first I ever watched but the ones I got into the most in the begining was Dragon Ball Z and Sailor Moon.

My parents never would watch it though I believe my father took me and my two brothers to see the first movie. Not sure he actually enjoyed it lol

I think poke'mon then yugioh and then I started to play the dragon ball super card game so I started to watch dragon ball z I can not find the next season so now I am watching Naruto.

Sailor Moon technically would have been the first anime I watched as a young kid.

The first real anime I got into tho would have been Pokemon and Inuyasha.

I'm your basic 90s kid. My first anime were Speed Racer and Sailor Moon. DBZ, Gundam Wing, Ronin Warriors, all the 90s toonami really, shortly followed.

That's fair. I still try to watch new anime, and I have found some modern ones I love. I also like almost any genre so it's not hard for me to find something I might like.
