A good guess but if I have to come up with a plausible in-universe reason, it's gotta be Trunks messing around to break her concentration. They're good friends, but they have that friendly adversarial relationship. He'll try to prank her and she'll take a swing at him for it. Mai let's it happen because Trunks deserves it.
Fair enough, gotta' have that annoying little brother sort of friend every now and then!
@India Actual can you find out what drawing tablets some of the artists you work with are using?
I am shopping around. I want to get one with a screen. My current one is a 2011 Wacom (basic bech tablet) that has no screen that I have had for a while but isn't performing as good these days and I would prefer to be able to look down while I draw.

Yikes! That is a pricey one. And I would want the medium as well. lol I am trying to stay on the cheaper side. Like $300 or less. There is a chance I get one and don't use it all that often so I don't want to spend a lot on one. I prefer paper still but I want to get better with digital which is why I want a screen tablet.
Oh yeah, it is. I see the medium is actually pretty huge. That is too big. lol Most "medium" ones I have been looking at were 11 to 15 inches. I just assumed the small was like 8 or 9 inches.
Salt uses an Ipad and an Apple pencil, Waffle uses a Wacom 16" tablet, Ethan Becker recommends.....
